myself, as it were

About Me:

I'm a freelance illustrator and designer in New York City. I graduated NYU Film School in 2000. I have a long affiliation with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (doing both art and comedy there).

I also make comedic videos of minor internet renown. Among them: Welcome to my Study and Cakey! The Cake from Outer Space.

In September 2008, I became -- through no concerted effort of my own -- "internet famous" for drawing a scene every week of the television show Mad Men.

(You're) Nobody's Sweetheart (Now) is a pop/jazz standard composed in 1924, but I took my title from a non-sequitir line in The Further Adventures of Nick Danger off the 1969 Firesign Theatre comedy album How Can You Be in Two Places at Once When You're Not Anywhere at All.
