Netflix Surprise
July 22nd, 2007I “suspended” my Netflix account for 3 months—the maximum you can put it on hold—but this morning Netflix emailed me to let me know it was back. I went to cancel my account but it had already charged the month on my credit card. So, I need to dig up a month’s worth of movies and then I’ll cancel it proper.
I got to the point with Netflix where it felt like homework assignments I had to get through so I could send back in time to catch the mail pickup. I also ran out of movies I wanted to see. My cue queue is completely empty right now, except of course for this.

If you’re looking for some anime, I suggest The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Solty Rei… though Solty Rei gets kinda crappy by disc 4. Melancholy is really weird, but very cool. I suggest skipping episode 0, since it won’t make any sense if you don’t know the characters.
There are also two Hellboy animated dvds which are pretty good. I especially like the art style in Hellboy: Blood and Iron.

Will is rude.
And also, despite your heartfelt recommendations, it’s safe to say Patbaer and I probably have opposite tastes. Seen Melancholy; don’t see what all the fuss is about.

If you’re looking for a movie and Dreamscape is on the list, may I suggest this.

Whatever you do, make your last movie Norbit. You’ll never want to see another movie again.

Dreamscape. Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind meets Brainstorm?
