Famous in Japan
September 9th, 2008Finally, the Japanese have embraced me as much as I have embraced/mocked them—

The gist that I got from internet translators is that I used to work at Modern Humorist, my Mad Men illustrations have been well-received on the internet and Cakey is a show I made. I might be more than one person. My name comes from that of a dynamo generator. My website’s name means “who are not boyfriend” and at the end—“A little attracted to the KW not uncommon for persons to register. ”
If anyone can manage a better translation I’d appreciate it. Also anyone willing to translate my response please contact me.

Hi, here’s a translation verbatim:
She is one of the columnists for a humor webzine (web magazine)Modern Humorist and her graphic design and illustration are catching people’s attention. Recently, her illustrations are featured in a TV program (AMCTV) based in NY in 60’s “Mad Men” and they are getting favorable reviews for their “retro” feeling. Her identity is totally unknown. Even her name may be coming from the generator’s name (dynamo), who knows. Not only illustrations, she has uploaded a mini drama film in which the main character is a talking cake names “Cakey!” who came from the universe. Maybe she is not just one person, maybe it’s a group. As long as I can tell from the blog ブログ, I get the impression she is just a lay who likes dramas….maybe equivalent of Rareko-sensei of Japanラレコ先生。 I got interested so I registered my personal name KW.

Wow, thanks Ralph… you’re a hero.
I don’t think my identity is THAT guarded. Maybe it is if you can’t read English.
The last sentence still baffles.
