February 20th, 2009This is a funny, but usually restrained, UK comedy/politics panel show called Have I Got News For You. When Lord of the Hawkmen/Gimli {sic – not BB}/Augustus hosts it goes batshit crazy. (This is a couple years old.)

Hah, that’s wonderful.
I’d like to think that Brian Blessed shouts “Dive, my Hawkmen!” every time he has an orgasm. He just seems like that kind of guy.

I adore Brian Blessed, have for my entire sentient life. And he’s played some amazing characters. But Gimli isn’t among them. That’s the equally wonderful John Rhys-Davies.
