The best thing about the Wikipedia entry for this band: “fronted by singer Jessica Griffin, noted for her precise Received Pronunciation accent when singing (very rare in British pop music generally).” I have long been a sucker of James Cahill’s sojourn into grammatically-correct pop lyrics (the only song I’ve ever heard that contains “to whom” is one of his) , so pronunciation-accuracy is in my wheelhouse.
